Making sure that all the children and young people in Dundee are safe, healthy and happy is everybody's job. It's not a job just for parents, grandparents or other family members. It's not a job just for the people who work with children and families like teachers, doctors, nurses, social workers, youth workers or police officers.

Remember - Doing nothing might mean that the child or young person will suffer even more harm. Doing something can mean that a child or young person is safe and can be happy in his or her own home.

What everyone wants is for children to be cared for safely at home. Sometimes it needs other people to get involved to help sort out problems and make sure it can happen.
